TO PEEK AT THE TREASURES HIDDEN WITHIN PORPHYRY CONFIRMED AT SILVER QUEEN PROPERTY, CENTRAL B.C.
The bounty of the earth can only be released when one accepts the challenge to solve its mysteries.
Ellen Clements, President, and her team confirm finding what may be the elusive source feeding the property’s
numerous veins. The half century search by many has revealed the potential for a significant size
copper, molybdenum, gold porphyry deposit (Target Titan B) at the Silver Queen property located at Owen
Lake, south of Houston, BC. Strategically located in a well mineralized and highly explored district, the area
has a history favorable to mining.
The discovery deposit, named “Itsit”, lies within a geophysical anomaly that extends 950 meters north-south
and remains open in these directions. Additional anomalies lie nearby to the west of the drilled target with
further geophysics planned. Limited drilling during 2011 in the northwest portion has not determined the
extent. The original “Target B” anomaly overlain on the Google Earth map is shown below. Assay results
can be found at www.nadina.com.
|The extent of the deposit
also remains open to depth.
Drill hole 11S-13 ended in
good mineralization at 777m.
Casing from this deepest hole
(11S-13 – 777m) remains
intact for re-entry. A large
diamond drill program is
planned for 2012 along with
The “Itsit” deposit is no longer just a vision or a dream but a reality. This hidden bulk tonnage porphyry was first sought after in the ‘60’s by Kennco. Advances in modern geophysics have made this discovery possible. Intensive study and the combined use of Geotech’s ZTEM airborne and Quantec’s Titan 24 DCIP and MT ground geophysics with expert geophysical interpretation provided the necessary information to successfully drill into the target to peek at the hidden treasures.
The question remains – Is this it or is there more to be found? The search continues!
